Our mission is to promote, support, and advocate for excellence in mathematics education throughout the Province of Ontario. For more about OAME/AOEM, check out our Vision for Learning Mathematics.

OAME/AOEM and all of their professional learning opportunities, including the OAME/AOEM Annual Conference, are not funded in any way by the Ministry of Education or any Boards of Education. If further clarification is required, please contact your local federation office.

Welcome to new OAME Board of Directors

Another September, another new school year, and a new OAME year. Welcome back to OAME President, Kit Luce, in her second year of her 2024-2026 term!

• New to the OAME Board of Directors this year are Rosanna Mortillaro and Mariarosa Schniering (Directors, JK-6 and 7-12, respectively), and chapter representatives Cynthia Shi (ISOMA) and Meghan Waybrant (PRMA).
• Moving to new positions this year are Mark Chubb (President-Elect), Cal Armstrong and Jennifer Clark (VPs), and Gerard Lewis (NCTM representative)
• Farewell and best wishes go to outgoing members and friends: Sandra Jean Price (most recently Past President), David Petro (VP), Jason To (Director), Stacey Collins (MAC2 chapter rep), and Jacqueline Hill (most recently NCTM rep, previously everything except webmaster)
