1. Under the Graph menu, go to Show Grid
2. Create a rectangle on your sketch the grid points (place four points on the grid, select them, and under the Construct menu, choose Polygon Interior)
3. Measure its area
5. Construct the dilated image of your rectangle
- double click on one vertex (you will see it "pulse")
- select all three others vertices (or: draw a selection box around your polygon)
- under the Transform menu, choose Dilate
- click OK in the dialog box
6. Find the area of your new dilated image.
7. Do this for several dilations of your rectangle and then for dilations of several other shapes (triangles, squares, irregular shapes)pȖP=;4ȃW\-%
