January 30, 2009 - ABOUT
OUR CONFERENCE THEME
The theme of OAME 2009 is "Balance: Finding the Right MMIX". The
theme is intended to conjure up images of mathematical balance, as in balancing
equations or using a balance, as well as images of professional balance, as
in balancing job-embedded and networked professional learning opportunities.
Workshops for teachers and administrators that span many interpretations
of balance will be offered. Other program highlights include sessions
that pertain to SMART boards, student success, Ministry initiatives, and instructional
leadership.
